Senayan
city was packed with people with extraordinary styles that night. Of course it
was because of the Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 that held there. I Swear I Wear
spotted so many fashion icons, but it wasn’t our main purpose to be there. ISIW
were there to be the guest of a fashion show by Limkokwing Fashion Club!
The
schedule mentioned that the show would start on 8 PM but the place was already
packed with people on 7.45! The guests were excited to see the fashion show
that we heard mumbles and how they predicted the collections would look like.
The media teams were busy setting their cameras.
Anyway,
guess who were in the front row? It was Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim (Fashion Club
Creative Director and Limkokwing Associate Vice President) and we also spotted
our two lovely Indonesian actresses Acha Septriasa and Raline Shah who were also
sitting in the front row.
There
was a big screen above the runaway and it was showing all about Limkokwing
University especially about the fashion major. Some people went “ooh” and “aah”
when they saw what Limkokwing University had achieved in the fashion field and
how they had produced so many talented designers.
Anyway,
the music played, it was the time for the fashion show to start. Here are the
collections
The
collections are AMAZING! They are like an exciting combination of urban flair
and various ethnic influences! The cuttings, the patterns and the details are
very unique and beautifully made. Also, the collection gave us surprises in
every different angle, they made the guests hung their mouth open. We’re sure
that Limkokwing Fashion Club will continue producing amazing collection, so I
Swear I Wear will always look forward to see the newest!
